The history of the internet...COM 2733

One thing that has really caught my attention in class is the history and origin of the internet. To my memory, I believed that dial up internet was beginning stages of the internet but come to find out that was not true. According to class lecture, the internet was created in the 1970s, with the first email being sent in 1972 by Ray Tomlinson. Just to think about how much technology has changed over the last forty years, is remarkable. Today the internet is something that is almost required in your daily life in some form or fashion. It doesn't matter the profession, the internet is part of the daily operation for countless businesses.
